The Electronic Download option is made possible by the ArchVision Content Manager. Each ArchVision Content Manager has a unique ACM ID number, which allows customers to make secure electronic purchases 24 hours a day. The ACM also includes a built-in FTP (File Transfer Protocol) client which is automatically queued to begin downloading the RPC Content when an order is placed.

Step 1: Install an ACM

The first step is to obtain an ArchVision Content Manager (ACM).

The latest version of the ArchVision Content Manager can currently be downloaded from ACM Central.

Step 2: Place an Order

During step 3 of the order process enter the ACM ID for the ACM that you will be using to download your order. For help locating your ACM ID, please read Finding Your ACM ID.

Step 3: Download your order

When your order is ready to download you will receive an email from archvision.com. If you do not receive an email (perhaps because it was caught by your spam filter) you can try this process about an hour after you place your order.

When your order is ready you need to:

1. Open the ACM. If it is already running it may be opened from the System tray by double clicking on the icon. If the ACM is not running you can start the ACM by selecting Start-->Programs-->ArchVision-->ArchVision Content Manager-->ArchVision Content Manager.

It is also possible to right click on the ACM icon, in the system tray, and select Download to instantly begin the download process.

2. On the Licenses Tab, click the Import button below the Current Licenses window. Next, select Direct Connect option and then click the other Import button located in the Import Licenses box on the right side of the menu. A message will appear notifying you that a download is available. When prompted about downloading the content, select Yes to start the download process.

3. The ArchVision Download Processor dialog will then appear, and your download will begin.

Note: If your download processor is not configured you will need to enter the name of the Destination Directory where the RPC Content will be downloaded to. The files will be downloaded compressed in the .zip format. You may select to automatically unzip compressed files as they are downloaded to avoid performing this task later. Then press Start to begin the process of downloading your RPC Content to your computer.
